Programming, a vital part for our everyday life weather you code or not. It's what we run on daily. From your phone, computers, cars, and even the traffic lights. They all rely on programming. It's what runs the modern world and that was something that always fascinated me. But what REALLY got me into programming?
Where it all began
When quarantine started in 2020 I spent a lot of time playing game with friends. At some point I was tired of just playing the games, I wanted something more. That's when I discovered unity, a game engine that many indie devs use. I began by playing around in the engine and eventually began to code in c# in order to make games. It was then that my love for coding began as I was able to see how code could be transformed into a whole game.
What's Next?
I began to look around and see what else I could do with programming. I began building websites with Javascript and exploring various frameworks with it as well. I began to grow a interest in how game engine's themselves work under the hood which is when I started to play around with graphics API's and c++. I was fascinated with all the amazing things that programming could do and the creative freedom it gives you over whatever your creating.
Conclusion
I still have a long ways to go in my journey and im by no means an expert, but im always learning and honing my skills daily no matter what obstacle's are thrown my way.
